Algiers, 1980. Algerian poet and writer in French, lives in the city where she was born. She is the author of several collections of poems, short essays and prose texts. She has translated contemporary poets, mainly from Arabic and English. Sensitive to the question of borders – physical, linguistic and between artistic disciplines – she frequently works in collaboration with musicians and visual artists. Her work, published mainly in France and Algeria, has been translated into several languages. After studying Medicine, and after several years of practice, she quit that profession to dedicate herself entirely to artistic creation.
