Roane Carey is managing editor at The Nation, the oldest continuously published weekly magazine in the United States (founded in 1865). Carey was the editor of The New Intifada (Verso) and, with Jonathan Shainin, The Other Israel: Voices of Refusal and Dissent (New Press).

Lourdes Pérez (Bilbao, 1972), has a degree in Journalism by the University of the Basque Country, and is the chief editor of El Diario Vasco. Specialized in political issues, she takes part in the Basque Public Radio and Television’s debates and has collaborated with many media and publications such as Cuadernos de Alzate.
